"Sung-hyun."

He turned his head at the voice coming from the side.

A colleague looked at him with a worried expression.

"Did he say anything bad? It's been a long time since the team leader raised his voice at you. He didn't get too angry because you were late once..."

"No, it's not that."

Jo Sung-hyun shook his head and said.

At his firm answer, the colleague made an awkward face and licked his lips.

Before he could say anything, Park Jung-won's voice came from behind.

"Sung-hyun."

"Yes, team leader."

"How's your schedule next Tuesday?"

"My schedule?"

"Do you have any outside appointments?"

"No."

Jo Sung-hyun immediately opened the calendar on his desktop, checked his schedule, and answered.

"Then you take care of Yumi next Tuesday."

"Me?"

"There's no one else who can do it. You usually took care of her when I wasn't there, so Yumi should be familiar with you."

Park Jung-won said.

At his words, Jo Sung-hyun glanced around.

They all looked like they didn't agree, and they could do it.

Jo Sung-hyun made a strange face for a moment, and then nodded his head.

"Okay. I'll take care of Yumi."

"Okay, thanks."

Park Jung-won said coolly and turned around.

Soon, a colleague came up to him.

"You know Yumi has a schedule, right?"

"Yes."

"Can our Raon go with her for the music video shoot?"

Yumi was a rising rookie singer.

Her first album had a pretty good response, so she was preparing for her second mini album right away.

She had a music video shoot scheduled for next Tuesday.

Raon was a 12-year-old male child actor.

He was recently gaining some recognition among child actors, so he was in a pretty good position.

Seong-hyun hesitated for a moment at the sudden request before he had even properly settled into his work, but he soon nodded his head.

Raon later went into acting and showed a good performance until the end.

He was also known for his kind personality.

There was no reason to refuse.

"Maybe he wants to go and see for himself."

Jo Sung-hyun hesitated for a moment at the request that came before he could fully adjust to his work, but soon nodded.

Raon had made a good debut as an actor and showed a good performance until the end.

He was also known for his good personality.

There was no reason to refuse.

"Raon wants to go, I guess."

"Yes. I was a bit hesitant, but he really wanted to go."

"Yumi likes kids, so there shouldn't be any problem."

"Thank you. Sung-hyun."

"It's not a big deal."

Sung-hyun gave a simple answer and moved his eyes slightly to look at his computer monitor.

He had been sitting in front of the computer for less than five minutes.

"I miss Chae-yoon."

He missed his daughter.

* * *

Time passed slowly.

He was also busy.

It took him some time to figure out the things he hadn't done for a long time.

It was lucky that it wasn't a busy day, otherwise he wouldn't have been able to handle it properly.

"It's finally time to go home."

Jo Sung-hyun muttered as he put on his coat.

He used to stay and work overtime regardless of the time, but today he got up from his seat as soon as it was time to go home.

Park Jung-won waved his hand at Jo Sung-hyun who was leaving quickly.

Jo Sung-hyun bowed and left the company.

He knew that her pick-up time was 6:30, so if he hurried, he could pick her up and go home together.

"Hello. Chae-yoon's father."

The kindergarten teacher greeted Jo Sung-hyun with a smile.

"It's been a while since I saw you."

"Yes, hello. Teacher. It's been a while."

"I heard you brought her in person this morning."

"Yes, I dropped her off before I went to work."

"Chae-yoon was in a good mood all day because of that. She ate well today, too."

"Is that so?"

"Yes. Please wait a moment. I'll bring her."

The kindergarten teacher turned and went into the classroom.

Through the glass window, Sung-hyun looked inside the classroom.

Chae-yoon was playing the piano.

The other kids were all playing together, but Chae-yoon was sitting alone in the corner, playing the piano.

He wondered why she was doing that.

He wondered if she was being bullied or something, and he was worried.

His worries disappeared with the faint sound of Chae-yoon's piano playing.

He didn't know what to call it 'playing' for a 7-year-old child.

But it was definitely playing.

Ding dong dang. Dang.

The piano sound came quietly.

It was a very familiar song.

He had heard it a lot somewhere, but he couldn't remember where.

'I don't remember, but...'

The song was so good.

It was too good for a 7-year-old child's song.

Above all.

"What are you so happy about, Chae-yoon?"

Chae-yoon's emotions were clearly expressed in the song.

Someone else might not have noticed it easily, but Jo Sung-hyun could tell right away.

Because he was a musician.

He could read the emotions in the song.

Chae-yoon's piano sound stopped.

He saw the teacher say something to her.

Chae-yoon stopped playing the piano and ran to him.

"Dad!"

The child shouted with a bright smile.

The moment he saw Chae-yoon's clear eyes, Jo Sung-hyun regretted again.

He had been working all the time, leaving such a child behind.

The teacher came out after him and smiled and looked at Chae-yoon.

"Chae-yoon has been playing the piano a lot lately. I wonder if she learned it at the piano academy. She doesn't like it when other kids touch the piano. She seems to like the piano a lot."

"Oh...I see."

Jo Sung-hyun answered and felt something strange and paused.

Did Chae-yoon ever go to a piano academy?

As he thought that far.

He blinked his eyes.

"Huh...?"

Chae-yoon had never been to a piano academy.
