Frondier's black lightning converged.
The Mana Crystal Aster had shattered possessed the Lightning attribute's 'Stasis' inscription.
Reaching into the torrent of Mana, Frondier formed the blueprint of a spear.
"Meno, Sorpho...!"
Frondier gritted his teeth.
It was magic that forcibly condensed Mana by overlapping two blueprints: a rune and black lightning.
He had done something similar in Atlas, but this time, the scale of power was different.
It was swirling with not only Frondier's power but also Aster's Iaijutsu.
Originally, the only thing that would happen after such a torrent of Mana was a massive explosion.
Frondier was trying to hold it in his hand.
'I really didn't want to do this!'
This tactic was, to put it simply, Plan C.
It was a plan to be implemented when all the tactics that considered various variables went wrong and there was really no other choice. It was a plan he wanted to avoid at all costs.

The moment Frondier grasped the spear.
The air around them changed.
"...What is that?"
A devil stood there, holding a black spear.
He had captured the torrent that had swallowed up all of Aster and his own power, confining it within his hand.
Was that a weapon? Or magic?
Even the sparks of the black spear were black, scraping the ground and tearing the air.
His emotionless eyes simply looked down at his spear,

His gaze shifted lightly, landing on Aster.

Aster raised Excalibur in preparation.
Could he block that spear of unknown power?
He didn't know. But Aster never bothered with such thoughts in the first place.
His mind was filled only with what he had to do, instead of possibilities.
Frondier's eyes were unreadable.
Seeing Aster with those eyes, everyone predicted what would happen next.
That spear would be hurled towards Aster—
Iaijutsu—!!
However, the spear Frondier threw—
Shot towards the sky.
At the speed of lightning.
Zeus stood there.

Even Aster himself had been prepared for the spear to come flying at him.
So everyone around them naturally thought the same.

Zeus blocked the black spear with Astrape.

Zeus had read it. That the attack would be aimed at him.
However, his body was that of a human. It wasn't easy to dodge the speed of lightning, so he had decided to block it with Astrape in advance.

Black wings descended, enveloping Frondier, Aphrodite, and the space around them.
"Protect Frondier!"
Baal and the 72 devils had arrived.
At that moment, Frondier glanced at the crow beside him.
He simply mouthed the words to the crow.
