The Sunday picnic didn't last until late at night.

Yu Jae-kyun had to go to work the next day, and Chae-yoon and Young-joon had to go to kindergarten, so they all parted after dinner.

Thanks to that, Jo Sung-hyun was able to get up lightly.

Chae-yoon was the same.

She had played hard yesterday, but she woke up earlier than Jo Sung-hyun because she went to bed early.

As soon as Jo Sung-hyun woke up from his sleep, he smiled at the clear eyes of Chae-yoon.

"Chae-yoon, you woke up early?"

"Dad slept in!"

The child shouted in a cheerful voice, as if she was happy that he woke up first.

She laughed and teased Jo Sung-hyun, and Jo Sung-hyun got up.

Chae-yoon rolled around on the bed and kept shouting that dad was a late sleeper.

"Dad is a late sleeper!"

"Chae-yoon."

"Yes?"

"Shall we get ready to go out now?"

At Jo Sung-hyun's words, Chae-yoon sprang up.

The child headed to the bathroom and climbed on the stool.

Jo Sung-hyun handed her a toothbrush and started brushing her teeth.

He prepared the child and went to kindergarten together.

"Hello, sir."

"Yes, teacher. Thank you for your hard work today."

He greeted Min Eun-jung, the teacher, and then Jo Sung-hyun turned around after confirming that Chae-yoon entered the kindergarten.

Chae-yoon went to kindergarten, and Jo Sung-hyun didn't go to work anymore.

He was completely free.

He glanced at his smartphone and checked the time, then moved slowly.

His destination was a large bookstore, about 30 minutes away by foot.

It had been a long time since he went to a large bookstore.

Not only in this life, but also in his previous life, he had hardly any reason to go there.

It was a bit unfamiliar and amazing, but Jo Sung-hyun was able to find what he wanted quickly.

"Understanding Modern Classics."

Chae-yoon showed a lot of interest in various popular music genres, but for now, he was most interested in classical and piano.

Jo Sung-hyun thought that he needed to study classical and piano first in order to suggest a smarter way for Chae-yoon.

While Chae-yoon was at kindergarten.

Jo Sung-hyun would be busy studying.

"Is there anything else?"

He muttered quietly and looked around the bookstore more.

In the end, he was able to choose not only 'Understanding Modern Classics' but also other books.

'Study of Pianoforte Technique'

'Western Music History'

'Basic Piano for Our Children'

'From Mozart to Beethoven'

A total of five books.

Most of them were thick and heavy books, so Jo Sung-hyun had to carry them with both arms.

He was about to turn around to pay, but the clear violin sound that came from the bookstore brushed past his ears.

La Campanella.

A piece that even people who don't know much about classical music would have to hear at least once in their lives.

For some reason, he suddenly thought of Chae-yoon's clear eyes that he saw in the morning.

Jo Sung-hyun eventually picked out one more book.

Chae-yoon had shown a little interest in violin, and Jo Sung-hyun needed to prepare for that.

'Understanding Orchestral Performance'

'You Can Do It Too. Violin.'

He picked out two more books and went to the cashier to pay for them.

His hands were heavy from buying seven books.

It seemed too much to carry them to kindergarten, so Jo Sung-hyun eventually took a taxi and headed home.

There were still several hours left until the time to pick up.

Jo Sung-hyun decided to study at home and then go to kindergarten.

The room that was usually used as a storage room.

Jo Sung-hyun cleaned up the room first.

He didn't do a thorough cleaning, just wiped off some dust.

He put the books on the bookshelf that was connected to the desk, and Jo Sung-hyun started reading 'Basic Piano for Our Children' first.

The other books he bought were actually difficult enough to be used as textbooks in college.

It was hard for Jo Sung-hyun to start studying right away.

He wasn't bad at studying, but he wasn't so great that he could understand college-level things at once.

Chae-yoon didn't have to hurry up and prepare for the concours, and Jo Sung-hyun thought that he could prepare calmly, but surely.

Jo Sung-hyun focused on the book for more than two hours without saying a word.

The book mentioned very simple things, but it was very helpful for Jo Sung-hyun.

It told him how to talk and make him understand, which was a great reference.

When he read about half of the book.

Jo Sung-hyun checked the time and got up from his seat.

It was time to go and pick up Chae-yoon.

When he arrived at the kindergarten, he saw Young-joon and Jung Mi-won.

They seemed to have just arrived and were about to leave.

"Hello."

Jo Sung-hyun approached them and greeted them first.

Jung Mi-won smiled at him.

"Oh, hello. You came to pick up Chae-yoon?"

"Yes. Young-joon is leaving a bit early today."

"Young-joon has a dinner appointment with his grandmother, so we hurried."

"I see."

He exchanged some small talk, and Jo Sung-hyun entered the kindergarten.

Maybe Young-joon had just left, but Chae-yoon was sitting in front of the piano.

She wasn't playing, she was just sitting on the piano bench, waiting for Jo Sung-hyun to come.

As soon as Jo Sung-hyun came, she smiled brightly and got off the piano bench. Chae-yoon ran towards him.

"Daddy!"

Jo Sung-hyun saw the child running towards him and opened his arms and hugged her.

Min Eun-jung, the teacher, also noticed Jo Sung-hyun and came to him.

"Hello, sir."

"Yes, teacher."

He had something he wanted to say, so Jo Sung-hyun looked at Min Eun-jung quietly.

He wondered if something had happened at the kindergarten.

But it didn't seem like that.

"It's not anything else, but it will be in the newsletter too. We're going to start preparing for the graduation ceremony for the kids."

"Oh, yes. It's already time for that."

Chae-yoon was now seven years old.

He would have to prepare for elementary school entrance after the graduation ceremony next year.

Jo Sung-hyun felt his head get complicated at the thought of Chae-yoon going to elementary school, but he stopped thinking and listened to Min Eun-jung's words.

Min Eun-jung continued.

"So, I was wondering if Chae-yoon could play the piano on stage at the graduation ceremony."

At her words, Jo Sung-hyun blinked.
